Palty Hair Dye Milk Tea Tart / Milk Tea Brown Review, Touch Up the Roots

May 10, 2011

yes i havent dyed my hair for a really really long time, and ive bought my Palty since months ago but I had no chance to use it, last thursday I finally dared myself to dye my hair by myself [usually my mom does it for me since im not neat, and its really difficult to dye your back hair -_-;] but i couldnt wait so I opened a box, and decided to dye my roots only!

And whats threatening is =

1. my hair ends were bleached already so its really light in fact, But I didnt want to bleach my hair anymore since its damaged already T__T so I was really afraid the roots would still be darker

2. I dont dye it with the same color, the roots, and the ends, so i was super worried that the color would be really different

3. I dont know how to dye it properly LOL yes I watched some videos from youtube, but seriously, its really frightening, especially since I dyed it at 9pm!

And I'm really confused,

how come I have guts to do it?

Its more frightening than riding a roller coaster LOL

But anyway, lets move to the point!

I bought this Palty from Taiwan [ a friend brought it for me], so I was really surprised that the box is different than what I bought from Thailand and Japan. Usually it has tsubasa / yui 's face for the cover, but it has animation instead. I was worried that its fake, but then I dont think that Taiwan has fake stuffs inside the supermarket, Since my friend bought it from Watsons. I suspect that the Taiwan version is different than Japan version

And I ordered Milk Tea Brown from my friend, but he said that Taiwan Watson doesnt have Milk Tea brown, but Milk Tea TART! but its still light, and the color is similar to the milk tea brown that Tsubasa promotes, so I once again suspect that the name is changed a little

the front cover

the back cover

it clearly shows the color chart what color your hair will be according to your present hair

and im true! this palty is for taiwanese only, since the manual also in mandarin!

As far as I know, the palty only provides Japanese tutorial inside. But I dont suspect its fake once again, because its not in CHINA which provides a lot of replica stuffs. And seriously, Taiwan has a lot of Japan's beauty stuffs, some even with cheaper price. So seriously, its not fake

and as usual, Palty contains its usual stuffs, the dye color of course, also including the comb, the gloves, clothes protector [the green one], the conditioner

and these two are the essential products inside!

so yah, just mixed the no 1 inside the no 2 bottle, and make sure you squeeze it well so there wont be any leftover

and make sure you shake it well! Shake Shake Shake ~

my palty has changed its color into something like this!!

But dont worry, as long as you dont bleach your hair, it wont look this light! But if you want to achieve this light color, make sure youve bleached it before hand. As for me, im not trying to look blonde anymore and my hair has been bleached enough already T__T it starts crying everynight bohoho

this part is optional, ive put the palty into a plate so its easier to take it with my dye comb. Since I need to do it only on the roots, but its up to you. If you prefer using the palty comb, then just change the top bottle into the comb and squeeze it. you know what i mean la lol

And so spread the dye evenly on your hair, and then wrap your hair using plastic bag or even shower cap and leave it for about 20-30mins

As for myself, I left it about 30minutes to achieve my result

Then you wash your hair, WITHOUT SHAMPOO, and spread the palty conditioner evenly on your hair, wash it untill the water becomes clear

Blow dry it

And I usually always wait 3 days later to re-wash my hair

And here's the before after using palty Milk Tea Tart

this is before using palty, see how ugly it was.

super deep black roots, and light hair ends. ckckck, i didnt dare to take photos as many as I used to be when I still had perfectly dyed hair.

And sorry coz the photo is kinda blurry, my digicam doesnt work that well anymore T___T

And lets see how's the result!!!

taken by my new camera lol *shows off(?)*

see how nice the color goes, well it looks kinda reddish but its just because of the lightning inside my bathroom I suppose

But it blends nicely and Im super happy! I was afraid that it would look too light or too dark and it would look so fake, but seriously, you almost cant see the line between the roots and the rest hair

Even though if I put my hair ends next to my bangs, it still looks a little different, but nobody can notice it if i dont say so

So Im quite happy with the result!!! And see how shiny and soft my hair is, ive tried a lot of hair color brands but mostly it only gave me bad hair results. either damaged hair, or uneven color

I love Palty the most <3 I gave this Hair dye 8,5/10!!!

Sadly its quite difficult to get, and the price is more expensive than regular hair dyes than you usually find on your local supermarket

But I prefer to pay more for a better result

And for those of you who's still hesitate about this product, dont wait more! It certainly one of the best hair dye! well, at least for me :b

So good bye for now ;)
