Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick Review and Swatch
December 15, 2014
Oh HI!!! Back with me on my beauty product review and this time it is the infamous Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick that I had been eyeing for a while! Since its launched, I have seen that many beauty gurus love this baby and being a beauty junkie, this had been on my list for a long time. As I have obtained this for a while and tested it on my own, lets move on to the review!
I love reviewing lip products and esp the swatch, so I got here with me the package box of the lipstick in smaller sizes than average for each product. However considering the price and how I am able to test the colors more, I would say that this is much better option for us, beauty addicted
It comes with 4 colors in pink shade
We have Melted Nude, a soft nude shade that goes amazing with smokey eyes. Melted Peony, a light cool-toned pink. Melted Fuchsia, a hot pink color with cool tone. And last but not least, Melted Berry, a dark pink vampirish color
Which one you like at the first glance?
For me the Melted Peony at first, since it reminds me of angel color
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick comes in squeeze tube all in one with the applicator that is hidden beautifully on a golden metallic cap. The Melted font decorates the packaging and gives it a nicely artistic accent
Each consists of 5ml product and it is made in Italy! The packaging is very smooth and I love how they color each product with the color of products as well. Moreover, the color is pretty eye catching so it's easier to spot it on inside the bag
It comes with built-in sponge applicator that is very soft and helps spreading the lip stick evenly. Instead of lipstick, I like to call it more as a lip cream considering the creamy texture
And here's the swatch, from left to right =
Melted, Nude, Melted Peony, Melted Fuchsia, Melted Berry
I love how it evenly coats my lips and giving it moisture perfectly. The color pigmentation is awesome and it gives nice shine without making it too glossy. A little bit goes a long way, so I just squeeze a tiny amount on my lip, and spread it with the applicator.
Here's the swatch on my lips, in order =
As you can see that the Melted Nude and Melted Peony are more into nudy-shade, and I am more into bold lipstick these days therefore I love the Melted Fuchsia and Melted Berry More.
I love the texture and the result, however for the color I would say that Korean and Japanese lip products provide pink colors that suit my preference more
Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick provides color that is more cool-tone / blue-purple hue more, and I love when it comes a bit coral-ish.. Although the color is not my preference, but I dare to say that the product itself is wonderful as it is
I know that they have more amazing colors available, including some coral shade. So I am definitely eyeing my self for those other colors!

So in love with melted nude! It's great how they release this set version so that we don't have to commit with the full sized tube :D 5ml is not bad!

ReplyDeleteI like that there's a box set to try multiple colors. I think my favorite is definitely the Melted Peony but they all really really nice. Also, the packaging is quite cute and I love the sponge applicator! Thanks for the review. I'll definitely check this out the next time I see it in store.
