Review : Dolly Eye Honey Hazel

June 04, 2013

Hello! I apologize for the lack of update on my blog. Shintaro-nii and Yuta-nii came to visit me in Jakarta and I had to bring them around! Then my final exams are here, so I will be death until 20th June    photo 4_zpseb189f5c.png

After that, I have long holidays, and I am gonna spend it by watching doramas all day LOL I miss free time, and sleep..

But now, I wanna review one of my favorite circle lens brand, it's called Dolly Eye! I have been using it a few times, and if I use it repeatedly, means that I super love it! Cos I am very picky for eyes  photo 13_zps0e34a866.png haha

This time I am just gonna show you the Hazel type. It's called Honey Hazel, and it claims that it can give enlargement up to 17.2mm!

To be honest, I feel that it's only around 15mm, but because of the pattern, they make your eyes appear bigger.. I got them from GalLover HERE  so you may check it out

Here's the description from their website =

Name: Dolly Eye
Diameter: 17.2mm
Water Content: 48%
Center Thickness: 0.03mm
BC: 8.6
Colors: 5 colors
Degree: 0.00 to -8.00
Package: vial + box

At first I thought it would look fake because it doesnt look honey at all, more like reddish brown tone  photo 6_zps880db718.png and I hate reddish tone on my eyes

But then when I wore it, it becomes my most favorite natural circle lens since it blends perfectly on my eyes. It's not fake, but not too flat. It's just so natural and comfortable on my eyes despite it's big diameter!  photo 7_zpsb3b360eb.png

This lens makes my eyes appear naturally big, and since it's so natural so I also used that opportunity to try maid cosplay, borrowed the clothes from my friend, Matcha Mei ahahaha  photo 19_zpsea30aab8.png

The lenses are so cute, and gives my eyes very innocent look like a doll!!  photo 19_zpsea30aab8.png
I really recommend it for anyone who wants to appear natural! A lot of natural lenses that I have tired so far, are either too dolly or too flat-looking. This one is just perfect!!

Anyway, my eyelashes are from Liz Lisa [Japacolle] , and my wig is Linea Storia that I have reviewed before HERE

The products are sponsored by Gal Lover as a review purpose

See you guys on my next post!  photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png

  2. Thank you for this review! I've been looking for circle lenses for a while but there are so many out there and I can't decide which one to try first xD Moreover I'm also afraid because..you know, it's for the freakin eyes and not some random lip product haha But I felt better as I read you're picky about those things too ^^

  3. Yes, I no longer can use korean brands such as Geo because I already compare them with dolly eyes or other jap lenses, and seriously Geo lenses are not comfortable. It can only last usually 2 hours on my eyes ;-;

I become picky with eyes because it's eyes we're talking about XD
