The Capitol Hotel Tokyu Review

January 03, 2017

As I was writing down my Japan travel from November, I was reminded by a hotel that I used to stay before in Tokyo and so far I would say it's the best hotel ever. Unfortunately back then I didn't have my current camera that could take the greatness of the hotel, hence I didnt bother to write about it. Next time I should visit it again and take more pictures

The hotel is around Tokyo Tower area and one of the grandest and the most luxurious in Tokyo. If you google Luxury Hotel in Tokyo, The Capitol Hotel Tokyu will fall right on the top 10 and for good reason

I usually stayed at tourist area such as Shibuya - Shinjuku - Ikebukuro but the hotel's nearest subway are Kokkaigijido-mae and Tameike-sanno which I never went to. As it's really confusing, I just took taxi from my previous hotel at Shinjuku to the area. After all, I had my heavy luggages as well. But now as I understand how to read Tokyo metro map, it's surprisingly pretty convenient because the hotel has 4 major subways across it!

Upon arrival, the check in was far from disappointment. The staffs speak amazing english and assist me pretty well to my room

They have entrance before entering the bed room, and it has japanese sliding door for a touch of traditional architecture. On the left, it's powder room and bathroom. The staff put all of my luggages inside there to not mess up the area

Spacious and clean powder room! I have visited Tokyo too many times to know that this amount of space is such a luxury. The best thing is the powder room has bathroom speaker with audio connection so I can listen to music while pampering myself inside this area. Simply connect your phone to the cable provided and so be it!

The bathroom and toilet are separated, as expected of japanese hospitality. Their amenities come with high quality products including Japanese Sakura Bath Salt which I really love

The room is connected to bedroom through the sliding door as well which makes the whole area more spacious

From the bedroom to the desk, there's mirror to oversee Tokyo's scenery as pictured below

On the second picture, you can see Tokyo Sky Tree from far away but the most prominent building is The National Diet Member Building

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had an amazing time, the breakfast was also superb but I forgot to take picture of it. I wouldn't mind to visit it again in the future considering that it is my top list on Luxury stay in Tokyo. I would recommend anyone to experience the same thing as well in the future

The stay was not sponsored by Capitol Hotel Tokyu

See you guys again on my next post!

  2. This hotel looks amazing, and the view - it looks like this hotel is in the middle of the city but still it's quite there.
