Babyliss Big Hair 42mm and Mason Pearson Hair Brush

January 08, 2014

I am so happy to introduce you one of my best beauty products find!! I always like to rave beauty products that's WORTH to be mentioned, so everyone can be pretty together!

Not like I am that pretty but oh well, I'm trying to lol

It's Babyliss Big Hair 42mm and Mason Pearson Hair Brush!!

For full review, let's read it more!! And please keep in mind that it has many pictures for thorough review, so prepare a cup of tea to accompany you reading this post  photo 13_zps0e34a866.png

First is this Babyliss Big Hair 42mm

The BaByliss Big Hair 42mm Spinning Brush Hot Air Hair Styler is perfect for adding gorgeous volume and shape to fringes, shorter lengths and longer hair with layers to create a beautiful blow-dry finish. Let the rotating barrel easily create that all-essential body and bounce, whilst the soft bristles give your hair an amazingly shiny finish. Use on nearly dry hair or as a finished tool to create a salon blow-dry finish at home.

So it's a combination of a hair roller and hair dryer to create blow dry result on your hair, like professional salon!! Best thing is, it's AUTOMATIC

I never can blow dry my hair cos I am not really good at it  photo 12_zpsa1b67bb4.png It's quite difficult to create perfect blow dry, but this Babyliss Big Hair 42mm can roll by itself!  photo 18_zps6a561248.png

So this is how it looks! It comes with a cute pink cap to keep the brush clean and in shape

It comes with soft bristles to create perfect volume and shiny & smooth result! Only high quality bristles are used and it doesn't damage hair.

It comes with 2 heat settings [pink button]; cool and hot, as well as 2 types of rotation; left and right. So you can create inward or outward blow according to your preference!

Here's a video how it works!

Super awesome right, right, RIGHT!!!  photo 7_zpsb3b360eb.png

So, LET'S TRY IT!!! :D

Here's my hair after wash. It's 15% damp.. To be honest my real hair before bleaching was pretty smooth and straight, but after all the damages it becomes quite lion-like  photo 4_zpseb189f5c.png

So messy because the hair goes to every directions.

Let's combat it with this Babyliss Big Hair!!

Turn it on, and I pick inward rotation!!

I sectioned my hair into top and bottom so I can work easier

And my job is just to press the button and wait for the roller to roll by itself  photo 14_zps9256a16c.png

After 5 minutes, YES SERIOUSLY ONLY 5 MINUTES!!!

My hair becomes smooth and silky and manageable!!!
What kind of sorcery is this!!!!!!  photo 18_zps6a561248.png photo 18_zps6a561248.png photo 18_zps6a561248.png

I never thought that doing blow dry is this easy! If it goes on like this, no one will really go to salon to have their hair done! It takes me only 5 minutes long to complete my whole hair!!

When I first tried this hair roller, it took me around 5 minutes to study how it goes. But once you get a grip how it works, it's a piece of cake!
Very easy to use, very fast progress, very beautiful result

I AM IN LOVE!!!!  photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png

My mom also tried it and was quite skeptical when I ran to her room and screamed 'Mom mom you gotta try this!!!' and she was reluctant to let me do her hair. But after she saw it then she magically fell in love and took it away from me to do her own hair by herself lol

It's become OUR Favorite now and we cannot stop recommending it to everyone we know ^_^

Imagine.. From this =

To this =

Just within 5 minutes!!

Or maybe if your hair is super long, approximately it will take you 10 minutes!!!

Super love Babyliss Big Hair 42mm!! It's a great investment to have beautiful hair like salon at home!

Another great product that I want to recommend is this Mason Pearson Hair Brush!
In fact when I first saw this Hair Brush I really couldn't believe its price for being 150% more expensive than the hair roller

But when I googled, many people swear by it and said it lasts on them for 10 years or more! So it must be something right?

Mason Pearson brush has been around for over 100 years. Every brush is handmade from only top-grade nylon and boar bristles. These bristles are renowned for their ability to evenly distribute sebum from the scalp, making hair shinier and stronger.

It also exfoliates the scalp and stimulates circulation to the hair follicles, while creating an instant luscious look. The patented pneumatic cushion pad, made by hand using original Mason Pearson's original techniques, conforms to the contours of the scalp, optimising brushing with little effort.

The original Mason Pearson Hair Brush has its logo carved on the handle of the brush. I heard that Superstar Heidi Klum also makes this brush as her favourite!  photo 10_zpsae5fe21d.png

This is how big the brush is compared to my hand. I love how it comes in pink so it looks cute as well!  photo 7_zpsb3b360eb.png photo 23_zpsff500481.png

The Hair Brush also needs proper treatment and wash to prolong its life. It needs to be cleansed periodically to maintain its shape, bristles, and hygiene

For that purpose, they also include the cleaning brush bristles to properly remove dirts on the hair brush

Why it needs proper cleansing compared to normal hair brush?

Because Mason Pearson Hair Brush can remove oil, dandruffs, impurities, and any dirts from your hair. It's all removed and taken by this brush, making your hair clean! Those dirts will be collected on your hair brush and you need to cleanse it to properly remove it from your brush

I will just go straight to the points what I love about this brush =

It removes oil, dirts, dandruffs, impurities, dead hair, and so on PERFECTLY
Gives healthy shine result on hair
Makes oily hair less oily after combing
 Gives volume on flat hair
Makes my dry hair ends smoother
 Helps the hair more manageable
Makes my hair healthy by allowing it to massage my scalp altogether
Keeps the hair in place longer than normal hair brush

Conclusion is, IT'S MAGIC!!!

You really need to try it by yourself to know how amazing the real hair brush can do to your hair!

Maybe it's the similar feeling when you eat cheap sushi in food court, and eat high expensive sushi at Ginza, Japan!! You can really tell the difference and wondering what the hell you've been doing so far for not discovering the new and better product beforehand!

You get what I mean? LOL

So far I'm LOVIN' these 2 products a lot!! It's my holy grail hair tool now and everyday I have good hair thanks to these babies!!

  8. Hi Stella, I am trying to decide between the Mason Pearson nylon + bristle brush or the pure bristle brush. Is your hair type thin, normal or thick? And would you say that the combination nylon + bristle works well with your hair? Thanks!
