Stella Lee's Top 10 Best Make Up Products in 2013

January 02, 2014

Here's my 2013 Best Make Up Products List! Been trying many products this year leads me for a change of heart compared to 2012 Best Make Up Products!

I was thinking for another way to recommend products that I like, and make it into TOP 10 list, and these are products that you really really HAVE TO try! And these products are the one that capture my heart in 2013 and I use frequently. If I have reviewed the product separately, then you can click on the title to visit the full review

Anyway the numbers mentioned are NOT the rank. It's just to let you know which product is which

1. Tony Moly Backstage Gel Eyeliner in Black
It is cheap, jet black, last long, doesn't smudge, and comes very creamy texture that's easy to work with. I never try Bobbi Brown Gel Liner that's raved as one of the best eyeliner in beauty market, but I dare to say that this eyeliner may be a great dupe for it. It has amazing result despite its affordable price

2. Shu Uemura Nobara Stick Foundation
I have purchased this for a long time but I didn't like it back then. Maybe because my skin was too oily, but now when my skin is quite dry, this foundation matches my skin perfectly and it has super super great coverage but I dont feel any thickness caused by using it. It also matches the color and shade of my skin perfectly as well as giving a healthy smooth result. Also it's blended very easily and travel friendly! Very easy to use cos just draw the foundation on my face and blend with fingers!

3. Dolly Wink Eyebrow Pencil
Usually other eyebrow pencils have more reddish tone, only dolly wink that I feel offers nice colours that suit my hair. They have range of light to dark with more cool / ash tone than red. It also comes with a brush to soften the whole look

4. NARS Loose Powder
My Holy Grail Loose Powder!! I cannot say no to this product. It has 40gr product though it's a lil bit pricey. I bought it overseas for 40USD or so but it lasts so longggg. What I like, after I apply the powder on my face, my face becomes so smooth and flawless like a doll. Also it covers nicely and feels very light on skin, moreover it helps maintaining my T-Zone free of oil

5. Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara
I feel Lancome provides the best mascara ever, in the whole world so far. I am a big fan of its mascara cos no matter what it is, it successfully coats my lashes perfectly. My lashes are thin and short and only Lancome mascara that can make my lashes look visible. This doll eyes type also makes my lashes lengthened without clump

6. Lioele Secret Pore Rich Balm
Best Primer to smooth out your pores, and make the foundation application way easier. Face also becomes flawless and smooth!!

7. 3CE Lip Pigment
I LOVE it! I have 4 colors and intending to purchase more. It glides very easily on lips and moisturizing despite its matte finish. Also a little goes a long way and I can adjust the color by mixing it altogether to suit my preference. My favorite is this hot pink cos usually others hot pink lip colors dont really suit my face, but this one is

8. MAC Blush in Pink Swoon
I love MAC Blush. They offer a wide range of colours and last long. My make up point is I always have my blush matte, and usually it's pink. I have this Pink Swoon as my favourite, it's so dolly-like

9. The Balm Bahama Mama Contouring Powder
This is so far the best contouring powder for me. It has the best shade that compliments my skin and looks natural!

10. Shu Uemura Lip & Cheek Fun-Tasy
I've been recommending this to my friends unstoppably. It's the best lip tint ever. It's creamy, moisturizing, blends so easily on lips, not sticky, color is so nice and wearable, lasts long, etc. All the good things that you're looking for on the lip product, is here

So that's all my most loved products in 2013!! Some are new products while some manage the place in my heart from 2012! I hope this list can help you which products need to be in your make up bag list next time!
