Tutti Vanity Shake Gray Review

January 14, 2014

Because the lens of my last tutorial is too pretty, so I decided to make a review of it!! It's been a while since my last circle lens review too haha.. Omg such a bad blogger I was  photo 12_zpsa1b67bb4.png

But here I am, this year I promise to become a better blogger right  photo 13_zps0e34a866.png

Tutti Vanity Shake is famous for being modelled by Harajuku Pop Icon, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. I saw it whenever I visited drugstores in Japan. Almost EVERY where you can see this lens in Shibuya and Harajuku and I had always wanted to get it because Japanese Lens quality is too awesome to be true. They're God among circle lens, and I am not even exaggerating!  photo 18_zps6a561248.png

Tutti Vanity Shake Circle Lens come with cute and colorful animal pattern box that screams Harajuku! Very suitable with the model of the lens, Kyary. It has 14.5mm diameter but it has enlargement effect which makes the result of the lens bigger than what it is

All the descriptions about this lens is printed on the box, which unfortunately I cannot read LOL

Instead of bottle glasses, they come up with peel off packaging instead to take off the lens easier. I always HATE glasses packaging bcos it's so difficult to open it up, so of course I like the efficiency of this peel off packaging

This is how the lens looks like. The right lens is upside down, hence explains the color is slightly paler than the left lens

Here's how the eyes look like on my eyes. To be honest the enlargement effect is so good! And the color appears brighter that what I thought!! It looks somewhat fake for people who want to have natural look, but those who love doll eye look will instantly like this!  photo 18_zps6a561248.png

This lens kinda reminds me of my favorite Candy Magic King Size for its similar pattern, but Tutti Vanity Shake Gray seems a little smaller than Candy Magic.

The comfort is of course good and I can wear it all day without any problem [even though my eyes are quite sensitive] and it's quite moist and thin. It's supposed to only last for 1 month according to Japanese Standard but in fact you can wear it for about 6 months!!
It's just, the japanese rule, you know  photo 4_zpseb189f5c.png

Anyway this is my look using this lens =

So doll-like right!  photo 2_zpsae87ac1c.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png
It is my favorite lens right now!!

To be honest I am not very sure where you can purchase it overseas as I dont see any stores carry it. I get mine through Marble Wonderland people when I met them in Singapore last time, but if you go to Japan you could buy it at any drugstore or maybe through your friend's help if you happen to have a friend who live or about to go to japan

I checked but it seems that they have no official website? Correct me if I'm wrong

Price starts from 1.680 yen for one contact lens, 1.980 yen for a pair of plano contact lens, and 2.960 yen for a pair of minus contact lens

See you guys on my next post!  photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png

  1. Actually, it looks kinda natural in your photos! Plus it also looks kinda green-ish gray as well.. o.o' Which makes it even prettier! @o@ I agree with the bottle cases. My thumb always hurts whenever I open new lenses that come with bottle cases. I definitely prefer peel-off packaging :<
