Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil Review

July 07, 2014

My thesis has finished, not everything though as I still have to revise some parts and do some offline tasks for the university regarding the thesis, but well the tough part has been passed and I am back to my life! Means I can do more product reviews now yeayy!!

This time is Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil that I have been using for months! I love using cleansing oil because it cleanses make up pretty fast [lazy me wtf] so here we go!

Sorry if the pictures are not that good because the bottle is transparent and the pumper is white, hence blending with the background. I am still learning how to take this picture well, if anyone has tips feel free to teach me lol

Sooo... They have a few selections but I decided to get the Deep Moisture and Light

Etude House Real Art Cleansing Oil comes with plastic box packaging with the same colour as the box. Unwrap it and you get this plastic transparent bottle with pump tool. The packaging has monalisa illustration whom shocked that her make up has been removed LOL

I really love the transparent bottle because I know how much the product is left. Also the pump is very easy to use. I usually use 2 pumps for my entire face and it's more than enough

This Light Cleansing Oil is ideal for normal or oily skin and has lavender oil ingredient to soothe skin. It is also free from Parabens, Mineral Oil, Artificial Ingredients, Animal Derived Ingredients, and Ethanol.

Why I recommend "light" for oily skin? Well for me oily skin have enough oil and moisture for the skin so there's no necessary thing to add more. As for me though who has combination skin, I really enjoy using Light Type when I have light make up to clean off. If I only have BB Cream or Loose Powder, then I opt for this one

Real Art Cleansing Oil in Light is very easy to use and very light weight. It spreads very easily and cleans off very fast

On the other hand, the Deep Moisture Type is more recommended for people with dry skin. I mostly use this whenever my skin is sooooo dry or when I have foundation, because I want more moisture to my skin after a long time wearing thick make up

The texture of Deep Moisture is much much thicker and when it's applied on skin, it becomes quite heavy to spread on, almost like a creamy sticky milky water. Also it's more difficult to rinse it off with water, but the good thing is it really helps moisturising skin and cleanses make up properly

Both of the texture is like any normal cleansing oil though, a transparent oil with aromatic scent. It is not possible to differentiate between any of them if you just put the oil side by side because well, it looks same. Hence I don't bother with the picture

However upon application, you can tell through the texture and the moisture which one suits you best

The price is around 10 USD if I am not mistaken, so I think it's quite affordable compared to most of cleansing oil in the market. Also you have 200 ml on a bottle, so basically it can last you around 3-6 months if you use it everyday

They also have the Fresh Type, but I don't use it. Anyone has tried it ?

Efficient packaging [pump type, transparent bottle]
 Affordable
Comes in a few selections to suit your skin
Cleanses make up properly and fast
Comes in big bottle, last long [worth your penny]
Parabens, Mineral Oil, Artificial Ingredients, Animal Derived Ingredients, & Ethanol Free

 None so far!!

I love using these babies and have been relying on them to cleanse my face for months, and also for the next months ^.^
I also often bring it with me during my travel. It's easy to put on make up, the hard work lies when you cleanse it off!

Do not neglect cleansing your make up properly to have beautiful skin
