Hello everyone! its been long time since I had trip to an interesting place. And yesterday I finally had a chance to visit Trans Studio Bandung, which is an Indoor theme park that's just recently opened! It claims as the biggest indoor theme park in Indonesia, even in the world. There are a lot of TV promotions about this theme park and it looks awesome! So I take my super long boring holiday to visit this theme park!

I couldn't find any hotels in Bandung because its fully booked! GOSH! Jakarta this summer is really desolate but Bandung is really crowd! I believe that a lot of tourists prefer to visit Bandung instead because of this Trans Studio Theme Park. MAD FAMOUS! That's why my family decided to visit it a day only and not spent any night there. For those of you who dont live in Indonesia, Jakarta and Bandung are different cities which are located at different provinces, it took about 2-3hours to Bandung

I woke up at 6am and I didnt even have time to put my make up, nor tong my hair =__= I even forgot to wear my circle lenses and just noticed it when I was already 15minutes away coz I couldnt see far billboard well. WTF! So I did my make up on my car but of course its not as good as it used to be wtf

I arrived at the place about 9.50am. The gate was opened at 10.00am so I thought its okay, but once I arrived, I saw long longgggg queue and seriously shocked! It took me 55minutes to buy tickets only wtf! And I was already mad tired waiting for the tickets itself. I dont know how come it can take a long time just to buy tickets! minus point for trans studio! The staffs were all in slow motion =_=

BTW, The price for Trans Studio Bandung =

weekdays = Rp 150.000 [18USD]

weekend / national holiday = Rp 200.000 [24USD]

VIP = add Rp 200.000 [24USD]

The benefit for having VIP pass is to have faster queue. I asked others visitors who buy the normal pass, they wait about 2-4hours for each attraction!!!!! I had no intention to buy VIP pass but mom insisted that its better for us to have it because it would be super tiring and ridiculous to wait 3 hours only for a 3-5minutes playing ! I find the ticket price is really expensive for Indonesian theme park! But I had high expectation from this theme park so I gave it a try even though it was such a pain paying high amount money only for theme park T___T but mom said that its okay to have this once or twice a year, because if we had traveled overseas, we had to pay higher amount

wearing the RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE VIP Pass

I quickly ripped it off angrily once I reached home lol

All the pictures are taken by lil brother[unless the close up one] so of course the result is not that nice la lol

I wore my spring-summer tank pastel flowery tank top with a short denim to complete the summer feeling. My make up, nails, and bag were pink, because I'm into Liz Lisa atm lol

okay so I tried tong my hair by braiding it for hours on the car, but it turned out weird wtf. And this is me w/o my long thick false eyelashes and circle lenses. unbelievable I dare to take picture liddis. ohsum rofl

And I think my hair color got darker also after I washed it several times ):

a note to remember,

Trans Studio Bandung is not a theme park for children. Mostly their rides and attractions require at least 120cm to ride their games. They DO have special attractions for children but its only 5 rides and you can easily have it in any malls! A lot of parents complain about this because their children want to try extreme rides and begin to cry cause they're not allowed to. Yet, they pay a lot buy only can ride some. Its better to bring your children to other places instead of this park

I saw a person collapsed too inside the park. I guess she cant handle the frightening rides but dare herself to do so. Once again, if youre not mentally and physically healthy, please dont visit this theme park!

Trans Studio Theme Park over 20 attractions for guests that's divided into 3 sections

the Trans Studio Bandung's interactive map

*
*

Studio Central

Inspired by Hollywood glamor architecture 1960-s

The attractions are =

Yamaha Racing Coaster

the coaster is one of the best coaster I've ever rode. It's really fast, and the circle is really extreme. The point in this coaster is that when the coaster is riding upside, the passengers think that it will turn upside down but its wrong. The path stops there, so the coaster will go backwards! =D

I really enjoy this roller coaster <3

*
*

Giant Swing

The most exciting and frightening ride for me. We are swung in a super speed circular motion and I couldn't even scream when its on its speed's peak because I felt my face getting really tight from being swung too many wtf LOL the feeling when playing this one is super ohsum! I rode this one 2 times! And it was fantastic! A MUST TRY IF YOU COME HERE!

*
*

TransCar Racing

I didnt have any chance to ride this because its super full since morning. The VIP pass needs 1 hour waiting, and the regular one is about 4-5hours. I stay away immediately =_= my mom asked the staffs for about 5 times every 2 hours and the condition was same, even getting worse during night wtf

*
*

4D Simulator

Its not opened yet =__=

*
*

Vertigo

I also rode this one 2 times! The queue werent that long and its quite frightening! we were also being turned around like what giant swing does. But this machine spins like 360degree, whereas the giant swing only spin half way wtf LOL the speed isnt as high as giant swing's though. Enjoyable <3

Trans City Theater

Its only available at an exact time. The auditorium can resettle about 495 people in one time show. The show is about 30-40minutes, and the show that I watched at that time was "Kabayan Goes to Hollywood". Its a parody and a musical theater. I gotta say that this one is not my favorite musical theater but its quite ok because the actors and actress put a lot of effort to this. And their hard working to make this show successful is easily noticeable

while watching it

and of course, I took photo only with my most favorite character, the Lady Gaga lol

while everyone busily took photo with the main characters, Im the only one who requested her/his(?) appearance lol

*
*

Si Bolang

Its similar to Istana Boneka in Dufan. Technically we ride the train and we will see a lot of dolls moving, something like that la lol and its for children though. This ride makes the section of each province in Indonesia, to make people know about each province's culture. So if we visit Papua's section, we will see a lot of black dolls wearing koteka. And if we visit Bali, the dolls will dance with Bali's traditional costume. And so on..

lol maling di atas bajaj

*
*

Trans Broadcast Museum

I dont find this one interesting lol just an ordinary small museum

*
*

Trans Science Theatre

Neither this one ROFL

*
*

Trans Movie Magic

I had no chance seeing this one, perhaps its only available for special occasions..

*
*
*
*

Lost City

Experience the ancient civilization which is adventorous

Jelajah

This one is what every theme park probably has. A ride that makes you tossed on a 13m waterfall. The river raft ride! And the decorations are inspired by Maya civilizations from Mexico

*
*

Kong Climb

Its a rock climbing section. I didnt ride because I did have rock climbing before in Genting, Malaysia. And it hurts when wearing jeans wtf! LOL

*
*

Sky Pirates

A boring one for me, inspired by Pirates of Caribbean I believe. This one is perfect for family who want to see all the theme park from high view by riding the pirates boat ride

*
*

Amphitheatre

Its the main stage for every performances such as circus, bands, singers, etc. When I was taking this photo, there was a musical performance

*
*

Black Hearts Pirate Ship

Its a softplay section for toddlers. I dont even bother to enter la lol

*
*
*
*

Magic Corner

The dark world of witches and wizards with full of magic

Negeri Raksasa

Basically it lifts people up and thrown down many times. The peak is you will meet the Giant upside and he will splash waters on your face wtf. there will be giant spider also. I got tired being lifted up and down since its about 10 times I suppose @_@

*
*

Dragon Riders

Children's play. Ride the dragons' carousels

*
*

Pulau Liliput

Another section for toddlers to play

*
*

Dunia Lain

I SUPER HATE THIS ONE!

The waiting line is ridiculously long! I guess its about 4-5hours! Even though I have VIP Access and I immediately became on the front line, I gotta wait because the train took so long to arrive. And when I entered the building, I still needed to wait for about 30minutes again! So double waiting! SUCKS!

Its just a horror house. You ride the train which will show you all the horrors inside

AND I HATE IT! Because there's a girl who's about 10years old, using VIP Pass, so she's behind me. And then this girl kept talking rapidly and asked me a lot of questions about myself. I replied a few times, but I didnt really care. Her mother didnt want to ride this one so she let her daughter to ride this one alone. AND MY LIL BROTHER IS TOO CHICKEN TO RIDE THIS ONE, SO I GOTTA RODE THIS ONE ALONE, AND I WAS STUCK WITH THIS LITTLE ANNOYING NOSY GIRL!

She kept mentioning that she's scared and never wanted to watch Horror. When I mostly did stoic face but laughed inside while I was watching any horror movies, like this --> ( '_____ ' )

So I kept pushing her to just go away and dont ride this one because I didn't want she screamed on my ear WTF! I even volunteered to ask the employee to bring her out, see hao nais i am! But she insisted to keep playing. And when we entered the house, she grasped my left hand hardly and even scratched it WTF GIRL! I shook my hand trying to let her go but she didnt wanna go. I SAID MANY TIMES "YOU GO OUTSIDE AND DONT PLAY IF YOURE SCARED LA!!!" There are other games which are not horror ride! Y U NO RIDE THAT ONE INSTEAD??

But she tighten her grip to me and kept saying she didnt want to go outside, but she couldnt stop screaming how afraid she was and people started looking at me. AND THEY BELIEVE I WAS HER REAL SISTER THAT ABANDONS HER LIL SIBLING! F**K!!!!!

I NEVER LIKE CHILDREN, IN CASE YOU DONT KNOW

And IM STUCK with this annoying little girl inside the horror house who kept screaming!

And when we rode the train, she closed her eyes and bent down to not see anything, she sat beside me and I, once again, told her to just GO OUTSIDE AND LEAVE THE GAME! but she said she didnt want! But even tho she didnt see anything and only heard ghost voices, she kept screaming "IM SCARED IM SCARED! PLEASE PLEASE.. GYAAA GYAAA.. LET ME GO!" WAT THE??!!!

I couldnt enjoy the ride at all. and I was to lazy to play it once again so I just left afterwards

GAKH!

BTW! In Trans Studio Bandung I met a lot of MC's whom were performing!

GUESS WHO!

me, blurry, pointing at them lol #norak

I dont know who the girl is , but I know the male MC. He's Indra Herlambang, an MC from Insert, one of my best gossip channel LOL I watch him frequently and he does a good job! lol

so I sneakily took photo with him LOL

okay too far..

much better 8D

*

*
I also met Talitha Latief and Fitri Tropika, they were performing "Kamu Pasti Bisa" Live

opening dancer

and Fitri Tropika is kind enough to pose for me personally,

so here are her photos special for this blog LOL

SHE IS SO KIND <3

And of course, the highlight of all the theme park is of course the Parade!

Basically, I did enjoy my visit to Trans Studio, but there are a few lacks of their services that bothers me. So let me summarize it

Minus Points (-) =

  • Discrimination over VIP and regular. VIP gets privileges to not wait in lines and allowed to get on the ride faster. I know they pay higher amount, but I feel pity for people who wait for so long and already pay not so cheap ticket everytime they see VIP to enter the attraction

  • The staffs work slowly. I wait for about 1 hours for every restaurant I visit and ticket queue

  • The theme park has some rides that haven't been opened yet

  • They cannot allow guests to bring their own meals and drinks. Guests have to buy it inside, and the restaurants inside are quite expensive

  • The queue are so long, customers get tired easily waiting for their time to play

Plus Points (+) =

  • The staffs are really friendly and kind to every customers!

  • You dont get sweat that much or get sunburn because its indoor

  • The machines are all high tech

  • I feel they dont use used or old machine since there are no strange sound comes from the machines like what you hear in Dufan [Dunia Fantasi, Jakarta's biggest theme park] you know what I mean lol

  • Safety is guarantee here because the staffs carefully check every customers seat

  • When I ride water rides, the staffs clean the wet seats before letting other customers to ride. So its clean!

  • They provide a bag for every guests in each ride to save their sunglasses, jewelries, etc, which can be taken after finish the ride

  • I dont know why, but all the staffs are mainly young people, and they're quite good looking compared to any other Indonesian theme parks! They also have their official Trans Studio employee shirt in black color which makes them look professional

  • The interiors are awesome! And its really nice to take photos inside

  • Special privilege to have faster waiting line if you're willing to pay more for VIP Access

Additional Info =

Based on my experience. VIP Pass is better and save your time & energy a lot. Yes you pay more, but in Universal Studio Singapore, the VIP Pass is 5times more expensive than the regular one. So I think the price is much better. And, only about 5-10% people who'd like to buy the VIP Access because they thought waiting in line was not a problem

But they're wrong. At some rides, Even though its their turn already, but the VIP guests [who only came 3 minutes ago, and youve waited for 3 hours!] were priority so they played first. And you CAN NOT complain

Long waiting line, thirsty, and envy VIP of course make people mad

I'm 120% sure that if I had bought the regular pass, I would have hated the VIP one too lol

Around 3-4pm, visitors who buy the regular tickets, gave up and decided to upgrade their pass [there are VIP Access upgrade centers inside]. But its not only you who think like that. A lot of people thought so, So people hurriedly bought it. But once you're done, The VIP Waiting Line was getting longer. Because its about 20-30% already. So of course you still need to wait long again!

So, its better to buy VIP Access from the first time. And play as many times as you can because after 3pm, the waiting line is getting more and more ridiculous

Even myself, stopped playing after 3AM. I decided to watch the Kabayan Goes To Hollywood and Parade, and had meal. I only played 1-2 rides afterwards

  2. its really nice, honestly. Compared to Dufan, I feel Trans Studio is a lot better and cleaner! But I wont ever visit this anymore if I dont buy the VIP Access next time. Regular ticket is just too, regrettable? I dont wanna spend 4 hours for 5 minutes ride :(
Yes lol I made it since yesterday. Its such a hassle and took me long time because I gotta resize, edit, and upload the picture. Because I want it to look nice =D but not a completely 20hours lol I wrote this while watching and playing la ahahahaha

  6. thanks <3 Well I had more pictures in fact, and I really wanted to upload all of it to give more better illustrations about the theme park ): But I'm afraid that it will load so long for people who have not so good internet [like what I used to lol] so, I tried to make it as less as possible lol
Ah I seriously wanted to call the employee to drag her away :( perhaps her mother told her to just find anyone inside to accompany her, which was the unlucky me
Yes! its seriously so fun =D its lucky because I bought the VIP pass, I could enjoy the moment and capture pictures alot. If not, I would have buried among people in waiting line

  7. Finally someone in blogosphere posted about this! I wanted to go but considering it's school holiday & the queue will be long, I postpone my trip :P
So... thank you for the review! From your writing, I think the rides are fun. But too bad that some of the buildings are similar to USS (for example the one that looked alike Mel's dine-in restaurant). It's a turn off for me :p
Overall sih ... lumayan lah daripada Dufan terus :))

  8. I often went to Bandung, but since Trans Studio opened, I don't really want to go there. I know they will be crowded until several months forward. I didn't know that they have such as VIP tickets. Waiting more than 2 hours for one attraction is annoying and tiring enough, and they "extort" the visitor with VIP ticket and even more prohibition bring meal and drink from outside? I don't really attracted.
Your story is a big testimonial about Trans Studio. I know they're modern, futuristic, even the biggest in the world....and the most expensive theme park in this country.

yes, but I gotta go in school holiday because its the only time my brother's free :(
I think Trans Studio is inspired from Universal Studio and Disneyland, so of course its similar lol but compared to pay fee ticket and hotel when going overseas, this one is a cheaper option =]
    yea, Dufan is no longer safe. Kayaknya bisa mati gitu pas lagi maen lol;

  12. I've never been to any Disneyland T____T

    ReplyDelete
  13. yes they have VIP Tickets, but its twice more expensive than the regular one. I've added some information about VIP Tickets that you may read above =]
I find this theme park is really enjoyable, but its not for everyone. Indonesia's people still have stuffs to do instead of pay for the high amount ticket
    Its quite ironic
