Review : Freshlight Foam Hair Dye in Berry Ash

In case you have followed me on Instagram or Twitter, you must have known that I have changed my hair color again.. When I was out for shopping, I saw that Freshlight was having 50% discount at that time and I always wanted to try Foam Hair Dye. So I bought this dark Ashy Brown color for my hair!
This is the color chart, and I expected the result to be similar with the bottom colour. It has beautiful ashy-beige brown colour
What you get from the box is a pair of gloves, Developer, Hair Color, A pump cap, and an after color treatment
Basically you just mix these two bottles together and shake it well. Then change the cap to the pump cap so you can pump the foam out
This is my before hair.. I did color my hair a few days before and it's a little failed because it turned out to be orange 
I use one box for my short hair [around neck length] and it's more than enough for me
First thing first, the foam was spilled over when I tried to put the pump cap. So I had to wipe the spillover. The progress of this hair dye can be quite messy based on that fact
The foam itself is not as thick and bouncy as it's claimed about, instead it's a little watery and if you're not careful when youre applying it, the foam itself might drop to your body. So make sure to use it inside your bathroom or wearing unused shirt
The product itself is very very dryyyyiiinggg unlike what I thought. It makes my hair super dry during and after the coloring session, and I hate it
As it's dry, it tangled my hair during the coloring progress and made the session difficult as I could hardly comb or spread it evenly
And the ridiculous part is, look at this hair
It turned out ashy grey instead of dark ash brown...
I dont get it!!!!!
Well to be honest I dont mind as the color is okay and I always wanna try grey, but to have grey when youre aiming for ashy brown is ridiculous lol
It also has a little turquoise / blue color on top of it lol

I really thought that your some kind of blueish hair, you got it on purpose for styling.. I wonder though why is the color uneven.. but the grey part look great on you,,

I recently died my hair with Anna Donna and it makes my hair super smooth. After I tried this, my hair becomes difficult to comb :/

ReplyDeleteahh.. well, that's because of going for ash.. ash doesn't hold as good as warm colors such as caramel or warm brown..
