Etude House Rosy Tint Lips Review and Swatch

December 30, 2013

I have been eyeing this collection by Etude House since it's launched last Fall, and finally I had time to publish my review about these babies. I am so into dark and bold lips since the beginning of fall, because it's like the trend during A/W Season. And this Etude House Rosy Tint Lips seems perfect for that occasion, and of course too hard to resist . .

Etude House Rosy Tint Lips is one of products that's launched by Etude House to celebrate and enhance 2013 Fall Make Up Look. The focus during that season was about bold and strong lips, even better if it's matte. To supply that demand, this Rosy Tint Lips offer 8 gorgeous fall lip colours inspired by Rose that suits the image of Fall Lip Shades by Etude House

This collection comes with feminine and princessy packaging box, decorated with roses around it. Elegant yet cute describes this limited edition better, it's more mature than other Etude House's collection

Etude House Rosy Tint Lips comes with a squeeze tube packaging that its packaging colour is made to its own shade, making it easier for us to pick out the product that we want from the make up wardrobe.  It also makes the whole packaging looks bright and colourful. Sponge tip to apply the lip tint completes this product.

Unfortunately I have difficulty squeezing out the product. The tube is so hard and when I lost my grip a little after the liquid comes out, it goes down again wtf. But the good point is, it won't be easy to accidentally be squeezed inside your make up bag and spill the lip cream everywhere
So I need a lot of power and pressure to successfully apply it on my lips. It only comes with 7gr product as well, a little less than normal lip products

The texture is creamy and has no sense whatsoever, and has dry feeling on the lips, I recommend using lip balm before hand. The result is more into velvety finish which is hardly can be obtained through lipstick from Etude House. Hence I really like the result!!!

Anyway, here's the swatch and color comparison of all the Rosy Tint Lips product. Top is without flash, Bottom is with flash

Anyway, here's how it looks like on my lips so you can see it better

I LOVE Baby Peony the most! It is warm pink color that gives a healthy pink result on the lips. Tea Rose is natural peachy shade that's perfect for every occasion, and Rose Petal is a bold orange reddish shade for more attention on the lips. Those 3 are my favorites but in fact all the colors are wearable!!

Though I must say that the first 4 lip tints are only slightly different toward each other in real life, the pigmentation of these lip colours are so great. It's very creamy and easy to apply, but it's not that moisturising like any other lip creams so sometimes it highlights my dry lips instead

Also calling it a lip tint would be far too good for this product as it only lasts for about 2-3 hours without leaving any trace like other lip tints. It would be far better if they call this a lip cream instead

Comes in gorgeous wearable 8 shades for everyone
 Affordable price
 Gives velvety matte finish
 Great color pay off
 Won't spill easily

The tube is very hard to squeeze
 The colour doesn't stay long
A little bit drying on lips

The products are sponsored by Rie Butik as a review purpose

I think this can be the dupe for Shu Uemura Lip & Cheek Fun-tasy. Though Shu is more moisturizing and lasts longer, but Etude price is 1/3 of it, so definitely a good option for more affordable product. I think the price is around 9-10USD in Korea?

But in case you have more bucks to spend, I would recommend something that is more moisturizing and easier to use. I dont like the idea of squeezing the tube hardly every time I want to use it. So much unnecessary power

But all in all, the result is very gorgeous and so trendy for Autumn Winter look

Talking about this, which shade is your favourite?
