Around the World in Yokohama - Park in European Theme

July 19, 2013

This is my 2nd post about Yokohama Day Trip. After China Town, we moved to the park which has European feeling. It was spring on the time I came. And I saw that they had flower arrangement contest because of it. So I dragged Shintaro-nii and Maki-san to visit the park mentioned as well!

Turned out I was correct. The park was breathtakingly beautiful. Although I missed the sakura this year, but these flowers were enough to bring the spring festive on me!  photo 14_zps9256a16c.png

Welcome to the Yokohama Harbour. Yokohama used to be the place where the foreigners came hundred years ago through ships. It used to be the place where the European live, hence explaining the rich culture of European Architecture on this area.

The Harbour was one of the busiest back then, and I read a lot about this from manga lol Anyone else? photo 13_zps0e34a866.png

When we were there, there were some big ships arrived and about to take off. But I was mesmerized by the beauty of spring there, instead!

The park was very very clean and the flower arrangement is very neat!  photo 17_zps5e02f649.png

They even had some pigeons !!!
It's very nice to see that they are not afraid of human..

So there were tons of flower arrangements on the road. I don't know much about flowers, rorry lol I only know basic flowers la like Roses, Sunflower, Lavender, etc  photo 11_zpsf7048e0c.png

Let the pictures speak thousand words~

I lol-ed so hard when I saw this chimpanzee statue in the middle of flowers  photo 2_zpsae87ac1c.png

I was busy taking a lot of snapshots on this park because the flowers are all tooooo pretty!! And it's just so clean and arranged nicely! I am very happy that I came at the correct time!  photo 23_zpsff500481.png photo 23_zpsff500481.png photo 23_zpsff500481.png

I apologize since I am not a professional photographer, and my DSLR is only basic set, so I couldn't take amazing shots like other pro bloggers  photo 20_zps5d2368e3.png
I tried to get macro shots but *sighs* well I hope that you still enjoy my shots~

I wish to have my own garden like thisssss  photo 20_zps5d2368e3.png  photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png

This park was full with couples who spend their weekend leisurely. They just drank coffee or eat sweets, fed the pigeons, watched the ships harbour and enjoyed the warm weather and light wind passed through

It was totally an enjoyable day, the weather couldn't be more perfect

There was even street performer and he was very good!!
Shintaro-nii told me that to do street performance like this, One needs to have a license! So not any random person can do this. That explains the professional level !

The park was freakin huge. As someone who doesn't walk often *cough*, as in here I just take taxi / motorcycle / car la.. The furthest area I walk is probably from the main gate of university to my class building LOL Or from the edge of mall to another edge of mall haha

In here I walked A LOT, I mean it

But Shintaro-nii wanted to see the ship closer. Though I disliked the idea cos I was tired. If only i could take taxi in japan... but taxi is freakin expensive here. Once you sit, its 600-700 yen LOL

So we walked to the cruise ship which we believed would go to South America.

And we were just wondering how rich these person who took the cruise for weeks just to leisurely enjoy the trip? I mean, that was freaking huge, and freaking expensive I believe. Even from Japan to South America via flight, must be expensive. How about the cruise tour omg lol

And I had remembered titanic back then wtf LOL

One day when I am as rich as those people. I also want to have cruise tourrrr  photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png

Should start saving and working harder from now on to have a good life in the future LOL
