Review : Dariya Palty Mist Bleach & Freshlight Mist Bleach

July 10, 2013

So, since I cut my hair, I haven't retouched my black roots anymore. I didn't make any appointment with Ko Indra again, the Educational Manager of L'Oreal Indonesia because I ordered some Japanese Hair Dye when Shintaro-nii came to visit me last May!

It's been a while since I dyed my hair using Japanese products and I was in mood to do it on my own haha

I ordered 2 Bleaching Mist. Why I didn't order normal bleach? Simply because I was so lazy to do it since it's so troublesome. The idea of just spraying mist to bleach your hair roots sounds too good to be true, and it saves times and energy to do a lot of stuffs. I researched for days on internet, and I decided to get Palty & Freshlight Mist Bleach

So Mist Bleach Product is a bleaching water that's supposed to lighten up your hair, especially hair roots, by just spraying it directly on the area and leaving it for a while. It works like regular bleaching, but just different application

For me who has to retouch my black roots like once a month, this sounds too good to be true considering its easy application! So I purchased 2 different brands, Dariya Palty & Freshlight, since I didn't know which one was good

I purchased them on amazon and shipped it to Shintaro's house in Japan. Then he brought it to me when he came to Indonesia. Not sure whether it's available yet on Indonesia Online Store

Since the review of these 2 products are frankly same, so I decide to make it as one post

Dariya Palty Mist Bleach has Tsubasa Masuwaka, as their model for the design. It comes in plastic bottle with yellow color to strengthen their lightening effect.  photo 14_zps9256a16c.png

It also comes with how to use the product, but everything is in Japanese. But thanks to their pictures, I kinda knew how to work with it

It also shows you the result depending on how much you spray it. 3 times, 5 times, or 10 times

The rest are in Japanese..  photo 3_zps1cb1205a.png

Meanwhile, Freshlight packaging is not that different with Palty Mist Bleach. It comes with the same hair mist design with yellow as the main color. The font color they use is instead black, giving a nice contrast on the packaging

And the Blythedoll becomes the model of the packaging

If you look at them closely, they're not that different. Freshligh is just slightly wider, while Palty is taller. But they still contain the same amount of bleaching water, 150ml

They also show you the result of how many sprays you need to lighten your hair colour

Same stuff, all in Japanese. But at least you get it huh? lol

Since there's nothing much to talk about this product, let's just go straight to the result

So.. ahem

THESE TWO DID NOTHING TO MY HAIR!!

 photo 3_zps1cb1205a.png RAWR!

I thought I did something stupid, since it's my first time trying hair mist, but I have tried those two, for 3-4 times each! And they didn't lighten my hair, AT ALL O_O

Never I feel so cheated with products in my whole beauty experience  photo 18_zps6a561248.png

I sprayed like what it asked me to do. 10-15cms from the hair. And I sprayed 10 times at first. Then after I waited for 30 minutes, it doesn't change. So I sprayed more and waited again. No difference!!

Instead because it's watery, so if I move my head too aggressively, the water drips down on the side of my cheek so it's very annoying!  photo 6_zps880db718.png

I will never try mist bleach again!! urghhhh! And I do not recommend this at all to you guys

 Cant think of anything!!!
 Doesn't lighten hair at all
The water drips down easily to face
 A waste of 700 yen

I know 700 yen is probably not that expensive, but then, I expected at least it should work la. Please lighten my hair a little, but this one doesnt  photo 12_zpsa1b67bb4.png
Such a waste of 1400 yen  photo 12_zpsa1b67bb4.png I'd rather buy a KATE Eyeshadow with it  photo 12_zpsa1b67bb4.png

Hopefully you guys wont be cheated too!
I bought this products from Japan, around 700 yen each

See you guys on my next post!  photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png photo 21_zpsd46e6a3a.png

  10. LOL!! What a waste, haha. If you put bleach spray in your hair and you'll expose your hair to sun (like beach) it can lighten your hair (but this also depends on your natural color) a few shades, but not as dramatic as on the package bwuahaha. But do you have to rinse your hair after applying?

  12. Hair mist that can bleach?! :O
TBH I didn't think it'll work too, haha. I mean, hair mist bleach sounds too good to be true. XD

  13. If your hair is already dyed this stuff won't work, and I mean bleached--anything other than virgin hair. It only works on 100% pure virgin hair, and you should also not have any conditioner in your hair.

  14. I think you're supposed to spray and then activate the bleach with heat (so your hair dryer) and then wash it off. Check out this person's review: https://amillionlayers.wordpress.com/2011/04/04/review-dariya-palty-mist-bleach/
