Japan Day 13 : Be-Staff Japanese Make Up School

February 11, 2013

No japan day 12, because I was just at home [Shintaro's home to be exact lol] sleeping and lazying around as I was so tired after playing for 2 days at Disney :x

But on Japan Day 13, I went out with Nishimura Toru-san.. He's Kanebo Make Up artist and he's come to jakarta a few times. We are still in touch so when I told him I was coming to Japan, he's gladly to guide me around Tokyo. We went to Shibuya and Akibahara. But first is Shibuya route!

We went to his friend's beauty school, called Be-Staff..
He thought that it's a good experience for me to see the make up school because I LOVE japanese make up, and I never take any school too. I just learn by myself lol

So the way for me to learn together with them, is by being their model for a day!!

Be-Staff Make Up Universal School is located in Shibuya, about 10 minutes walk from 109. It's on 6th floor building and the interior is very very clean and simple, yet refined

The students were gathering to take pictures of before after, and such. This school allows you to come on whatever schedule you can, and you can get morning or evening shift
I was introduced as Indonesian blogger that talks about beauty, and I was very nervous when I had to give little speech to them, in Japanese pls LOL;;

While I was waiting for the students, I sat down and checked my phone, then a student suddenly approached me

"pagi"

"pagi.. eh chotto?" *looks at him* o_o I was like wtf, 2 weeks been in Japan nobody speak to me in Indonesian, so I asked back "are you Indonesian?", and the conversation was going on in Japanese because he couldn't speak english. Wish my japanese was better so I can talk more to the students :(

And he's like "no no, I visited indonesia once and it's very beautiful country.."

"Oh really? What's your favorite food from Indonesia?" <-- typical question from all Indonesian lol

"I like nasi goreng and mie goreng"

LOLOL

So we kinda chatted before the class started

That's my bare face, left is the student. She just came back again to class after 2 months for dorama stuff. WOW! O.O
And the one with red hair is Toru-san's friend. She's the teacher ^.^ Toru-san helped me taking the pictures..

I learned from how she applied make up on me, and sometimes I also asked about some techniques. Overall I do learn some important stuffs that I can try on my own, and share on my next beauty class :D

First she got me kinda natural smokey eyes make up, but then changed to dark smokey eyes and then Twiggy's make up o_o

I kinda got praised because I got naturally big eyes for chinese lol

That's the finishing look of Twiggy kinda feel lol
I dont think I match the look as I am not used to with super heavy make up.. But I learned stuffs that are useful for my make up. Also I notice that the Japanese put attention on even small strokes or line, as it changes the look completely o.o

With Takahata-san, the one who did my make up :]

After this I went to Akiba to visit Butler cafe.. Talk to you on my next post! ^.^
